Nordic Ski and Snowshoe conditions 12/18/04
Cross Country (Nordic) Ski X-C and Snowshoe Conditions, Southern Vermont, Putney...
Update. The frosts are getting harder, and the days above 32 degrees fewer and farther between. Flurries on Monday and again yesterday. All the treelines still look sugar frosted, not heavy with snow. As always, quite beautiful. This week marked the fifth and sixth snowfall of the season, but negligible. Nothing to ski on. John says he skied Stratton last week, and it was fine. Grafton Pond started making snow on Wednesday. Ski season... no snow, but good to go.
