Update. Another five inch plus snow day. Fresh powdery snow in the meadow, with more coming tomorrow. If we get a couple of more days of snow, we've got decent snowshoeing conditions. Again the treelines look sugar frosted, not heavy with snow. As always, quite beautiful. This week marked the ninth snowfall of the season. We're sending people to Grafton and Ascutney, and everything seems to be fine. John skied Stratton a few weeks ago and came back happy. Grafton Ponds started making snow on mid-December and hasn't stopped. Ascutney, Okemo, Mount Snow, Stratton, Bromley, Haystack all ready and waiting. Watch this space for reports on snowfall, weather, snowshoeing conditions and cross country ski trail updates at Hickory Ridge House Vermont Bed and Breakfast Country Inn (B&B) - your winter vacation headquarters in southern Vermont.
