conditions: good base and grooming at brattleboro ouring club and grafton ponds for cross country

headed out into the meadow this morning after breakfast ... pristine, no tracks, except for a couple of wild cats that headed up the hill toward the orchard, and they weren't really tracks in the snow so much as a whisper of tracks in the snow
